6 employees receive an award from the Council of Bogota

Last Friday, November 22, 2024, we received a very special visit from Julián Uscátegui Pastrana, former pupil of the class of 2018 and who currently serves as Councilman of Bogotá. On this occasion he came to greet the SGS community, but also with a very special reason: to bring on behalf of the Council of Bogota some exaltations to recognize 6 people who for long years have helped the country and the city by offering them better professionals and better human beings; people who have invested their lives in education and who have been characterized by instilling in children great values and principles. 👏

The Council of Bogota recognizes and exalts citizens and organizations that have distinguished themselves for their services rendered in the Capital District and by virtue of this, the following persons were recognized: 

• Myriam Copete, Executive Director
• Zoraya Ramirez, Academic Secretary and Head of Admissions
• Patricia Tobar, Chief Information and Technology Officer
• Nubia Alonso, Secretary of the Rector's Office
• Octavio Hernandez, Maintenance Assistant
• Mónica Cortés, Food Service and General Services Manager. 

Finally, our rector Jaime Acosta MBE, received a recognition on behalf of school for contributing to the education of the country, accompanying the human, spiritual and healthy growth for a superior performance in the life of each of its students. 🎖️
