VALUES  and ETHOS

We consider spirituality as one of the most important dimensions of a human being. It allows the spirit to transcend space and time, to be in harmony with ourselves, with others and our environment. At the same time, we become aware of the meaning of life, service to others, happiness, values and principles.

The school states that while the Catholic faith is the official religion of school, it accepts, values and respects the religious beliefs of other denominations and individuals.

We also believe in the equality of the sexes, their rights, duties and opportunities and in the respect for all forms of life, plants and creatures; we are all one on this planet.

Core Values

To have an objective in life is expressed through values that allow the development of the full potential of a person. Self -awareness and self -management lead to a better and fairer world for all. These values include intrapersonal values ( that are individual) and interpersonal values (that relate to others).

Instrumental Values

Instrumental values relate to behaviour and competence and are the means by which to achieve terminal values (goals in life). Being conduct-related, they can be moral, behaviour related (interpersonal) or competence-related (intrapersonal).
