School Counselling

We offer parenting guidelines while sharing articles, videos, podcasts and updated research and tools to assist them in the emotional education of their children. 

Our employees are a very important part of our community and we are available to assist and to guide them whenever necessary. The emotional well-being of our community is a priority.

We consider group programmes to be fundamental: Values, Healthy Coexistence, Life Skills, Sex Education, Prevention of the Consumption of Psychoactive Substances (CONSENTIDOS), Projects and Meaning of Life, Professional Orientation (Grade 9-11)) and Emotional Intelligence. The latter is not programmed into the curriculum like the others however, it is dealt with in group sessions and is cross curricular. The above programmes are resources: (a) we have created ourselves according to the needs of the School and the current legislation; (b) we have established in alliance with external organizations that are experts on the specific subjects.

 Within the teamwork and the different fields, we have found a major potential for growth in the development of socio-emotional skills. The Development Committee made up of the Food Service, Medical Service, CADI, ERE, Social Work, Sports, ASIN and Communications, all share a common philosophy, 'A Healthy Lifestyle,' We generate activities and campaigns for the whole community throughout the school year to expand awareness and provide programmes of prevention and action to reach a common goal: the comprehensive development of our pupils 

We take care of new pupils and families during our admission process. We carefully select our staff and in particular identify those that share our philosophy, to be a part of our School.

History teaches lessons, reminds us of paths to success and guides us based on lived experiences. This is how we gather information for our lives allowing us to move forward. Each pupil who has received counselling has his or her own story to tell. This is carefully nurtured providing a starting point to recognise the individuality of each person.

The School Counselling Service also consolidates and establishes protocols and plans for action for various situations that need addressing.
These include protocols for dealing with bullying and eating disorders, among others.
