We would like to congratulate Agustín Echeverry, former pupil of the 2011 promotion, for reaching the rank of Lieutenant in the Reserve of the Colombian National Police, after successfully completing Course 008. His outstanding career is not only limited to the police field, but also includes his work as a lawyer.

Agustín has been a partner of Echeverry Abogados since 2023, where he was previously linked as External Counsel for more than two years. He began his career in law firms and later played roles in the public sector, including his participation in the Subdirectorate of Justice of the National Planning Department - DNP. Currently, he shares his experience as Professor of Constitutional Law at the Faculty of Legal Sciences of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and of Introduction to Law at school of Higher Studies in Administration - CESA.

In addition, during his stay in Washington, DC, he completed an internship in the Global Governance team - Latin America and the Caribbean of the World Bank. Agustín is a Lawyer and Administrative Law Specialist from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, with an Honorable Mention in his undergraduate thesis. His constant search for knowledge led him to obtain a Master of Laws (LL.M.) with a Certificate in International Human Rights Law at Georgetown University, where he received the Academic Merit Scholarship, enhanced by the Colfuturo - Georgetown Merit Scholarship. We congratulate Agustín for his professional and academic achievements, wishing him continued success in his service to the community and in his commitment to justice and public safety.
