To enter Pre-Kindergarten, applicants must be 4 years old by August 31 of the year of entry; for Kindergarten, they must be 5 years old. The admissions process takes place one year earlier.

We offer places mainly in Preschool and exceptionally in other levels in case there are places available at the end of the academic year, however, information will be given continuously for each particular case.

Places are assigned on a weekly basis, which is why we invite you to register within the first few weeks after the opening of the Admission Process.

For our school it is very important to get to know the applicants and their families, identify their potential and those aspects that can be stimulated, in order to help them achieve a successful process of adaptation and school adjustment. The Play Day is designed to have a warm approach with parents and applicants, where, through playful activities, we collect information that will allow us to give timely feedback as well as provide guidance on the needs of the applicant before entering formal schooling.

Yes, with the exception of families already connected to the SGS Community such as alumni, parents with another child in the school and collaborators.

The school has internationalized its education with the British curriculum through the Cambridge International Education Program (Cambridge International Education), which is the British alternative worldwide for international baccalaureates, such as the Matura (Swiss International Baccalaureate), Abitur (German International Baccalaureate), BAC (French International Baccalaureate), IB (International Baccalaureate), among others.

In this way, this programme aims to enable students to receive a global education and at the same time take international exams to obtain certificates and diplomas that are recognized by national and international universities, as well as the International Baccalaureate.

Our students graduate with all the possibilities and doors open to apply to local and global universities, as we have evidenced over the years.

The school finds in the suggested homework a complement to their classroom education, since it is a space in which the pupil individually practices what pupil has learned and applies it mainly through exercises, research or projects.

The suggested homework is for the students and parents do not need to be involved, since the aim is to develop the pupil 's autonomy and confidence in the use of what they have learned. It should be noted that they are optional.

We believe that the suggested homework supports the development of executive skills such as planning, organization, time management, collaborative work and study habits, which will be very useful for the rest of your life.

The school uses the "classroom planner" as an organizational tool, being an important complement in its formative process, in such a way that it allows students to register and organize their school work, guaranteeing that there will be no excesses.

The school is bilingual in English, a language that is taught not as a second language, but with the academic English programme , that is to say, students learn with the same programme that a pupil whose native language is English in any country in the world receives. This process begins with an introduction in Pre-Kindergarten and immersion from Kindergarten onwards.

In addition to this solid programme, students have the opportunity to learn a third language starting in third grade, when French instruction begins. Thanks to this integrated approach, most students graduate with a C1 level in English and B2 in French, providing them with a multilingual education that opens doors in international academic and professional contexts.

Saint George's School is on a B calendar. The School year begins in mid-August and ends in June. There is one weeks holiday in October, one-month from December to January, and an Easter break.

The workday begins at 7:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m., with additional hours from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for extracurricular activities. extracurricular activities from 1st to 11th grade, which have no additional cost. A schedule of classes is managed Monday through Friday by cycles from day 1 to 6, in order not to lose class hours on holidays. 

Yes, the school has a wide and varied offer of extracurricular activities for all levels from Pre-Kinder through Eleventh grade, which have no additional cost and can be consulted by clicking here.

For Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and Transition grades, there are extracurricular activities such as swimming, tennis, ballet and taekwondo. These activities take place during the curricular schedule. From kindergarten through first grade, soccer, basketball and volleyball are offered, which are held on Saturday mornings and have a symbolic additional cost per semester, including transportation and materials.

From Transition, students can start enjoying the Music Seminars with their parents, learning different instruments at no additional cost.

Starting in first grade, the extracurricular alternatives are extended during the week and at no cost up to eleventh grade, which are developed from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and have no additional cost. The portfolio is broad and extensive and can be seen in the following link, along with the clubs.

There is day uniform and one for physical education as well as sports gear. As from 4th grade onwards there is a dress uniform and from 3rd Grade onwards girls wear a skirt instead of a blue pinafore dress.

For new Pre-Kindergarten students there is a process of adaptation through the Center for Learning and Integral Development CADI, which offers a series of workshops for families that are going to enter school in order to provide them with tools for the adaptation of new students and parents.

There is also an activity for the beginning of the year, which takes place two weeks before school starts, where students and their parents can enjoy a morning of games and integration with other families. 

For other courses there is a process of accompaniment during the first weeks, so that the adaptation is more friendly.

Yes, there are 50 school routes that cover the city and its surroundings. All buses have a Route Assistant, who guarantees the safety of the pupils.

The school routes have a Satellite Positioning System, which parents can access to visualize where the route is located. The transportation service is provided during curricular hours to the pupil's stop, and also during extracurricular hours at no additional cost.
