St. George's School
Our School
We are a Nature Reserve
Our school is a natural reserve made up of a savannah wetland inhabited by multiple species of birds, fish, frogs, algae, among others. In addition, we enjoy large areas of high Andean forest and gardens that provide food and shelter to many species of flora and fauna and can be appreciated on a daily basis. We have identified 208 species of plants and 35 species of birds.
INNOVATION and TECHNOLOGY
The School has always been at the forefront of the latest technology. The goal is for our pupils to develop the skills and abilities to be able to interact with technolgy using a critical and dicerning mind; as well as having the ability to contribute to a new generation of knowledge.
EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES and CLUBS
We have more than 45 activities in a space during and after school hours (at no additional cost) to explore new interests and discover talents. These spaces allow students to develop their passions or skills through commitment to the activity of their choice, teamwork or learning a specific skill. We have artistic, cultural, musical, sports, science and technology spaces, among others.
Food Service
The food service offers our community natural food, without colourings, preservatives or chemical substances. We have organic gardens that supply approximately 70% of the vegetables consumed at school. We seek to create good eating habits in our students, who receive continuous monitoring of their nutritional status.

Alejandro Echeverría Grijalba
Head Prefect 2025
"Being Head Prefect and vice-captain of my House opened the doors for me to discover who I am and what I want to be. I learned that leadership is not only about guiding, but also about listening and being receptive to others. Each challenge and shared moment helped me to find my interests and to understand that developing is a collective journey. I know now, that the School gave me the courage to dream without limits and the certainty that, with each step I was building a better future for myself."
Camila Zborovszy
Science Teacher
"As I enter my 15th year as a science teacher, I have learnt that teaching science goes beyond content. Through an in-context approach, we try to help pupils understand the connection between biology and real issues such as health, the environment and biodiversity. It motivates me to see how they gradually develop a more critical, curious and aware view of the world around them. In the classroom, biology becomes a way to understand life; make informed decisions and take an active role in caring for the planet and each other."
Reuben Crighton
English Teacher
'I have been working at Saint George's as an English Teacher since 2019. In that time, I have worked with many pupils in many different levels, and I thoroughly enjoy every moment. Their creativity and positive attitude helps them develop their language skills to a high standard but most importantly the reward comes from watching them develop into determined and resourceful members of our society.'
